A spacious neighbourhood built on a polder
Watergraafsmeer was once the Diemermeer, formed after a breach in the Diemerzeedijk and drained in the seventeenth century. Its former polder landscape still helps explain the generous layout of the neighbourhood.
Park Frankendael was once an estate and later a city nursery. Betondorp, officially Tuindorp Watergraafsmeer, was built between 1923 and 1927 as a garden village. Around these green areas, rear windows, conservatories and garden doors are common.
Middenmeer and the routes towards Science Park also have apartment blocks, practices and offices. We clean a home once or regularly, while larger buildings receive a separate plan suited to their access and size.
